Looks god awful. Idk why Cranston or Franco would agree to do this movie. And what the hell is their target audience?

I can only imagine they hoped people would see Cranston and Franco and decide to see the movie based off of that.

So have you actually watched the movie?

No and I don't plan too

Dude, both of these guys have been in some less than stellar movies and shows in their careers but I see what you are getting at. I actually can see Franco in this but Cranston can get better roles. Cranston playing LBJ was one of the best performances of the past few years.

You don't see a market for comedies based on the idea of the father/mother hating their kid's significant other when they meet for the first time or find out they are getting married?
The target audience is the same type that goes to movies like Meet the Parents, Father of the Bride, and Guess Whose Coming to Dinner.
In fact, the director is actually the same guy who wrote the Meet the Parents/Fockers movies.

Because I bet they both cleared 15 million easily

Looks like an "edgier" Meet the Parents.

This is a movie that won't get much critical praise, and I won't pretend it's offering anything revolutionary in terms of story development. That said, it's a lot funnier than I expected it to be. Also, Franco's character is familiar, but it's less annoying as socially inept billionaire rather than idiot stoner.

Cranston could take a dump on film and it would be a better dump than anyone else.

Wasn't Cranston one of the hollywood geeks who vowed to leave the U.S. if Trump won in November? Maybe this is his departing gift.

Why is Cranston trying to do comedy now after drama his entire career? Just doesn't make sense.

Maybe watch an interview with Cranston if you think this is remotely true.

Target audience is Jewish families with nothing to do on Christmas.
Seriously, my Jewish wife and her mother cannot wait to see this fricking movie.
Chinese food and the movies, the Jewish Chirstmas tradition.

This movie is Alot funnier than I thought it'd be.

I saw this one early and the audience laughter was pretty consistent. The plot wasn't the most original, and a few of the jokes were telegraphed, but it was genuinely funny.

It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's a decent stupid comedy. Worth a watch when you're bored.
