I like him. He has made some kick arse movies. Some that kinda were snoozers.
But I've never noticed him acting like he was a jerk or egotistical in interviews.
I've seen most of his movies.

Half of the movies you listed are terrible.

He's a terrible actor. Period.
Doesn't mean that his movies can't be enjoyable, though. I mean, look at Keanu Reeves.

Whoa Bro, you dont come in here dissin Keanu. The OT has ruled him one of the top three greatest actors of all time.

The Keanu comp is apt but not for the reasons Soph thinks. Both are good not great actors who have had huge box office success while also starring in a few critically acclaimed movies. So the backlash is out of proportion to their actual lack of talent. Both actors were so huge that it just became incrediblely easy to use them as the go to bad actor. In fact, both are decent actors who, given their critical and popular reputations, are the very definition of underrated.

Tigris, the British had more different accents than you will ever know, well over 500 and in London of the 1870-90's there was over 200 alone.
One could tell at the time of the 1920 to within 5 miles of the area of England one lived and to the block in London.
British Royalty spoke French until Henry VII and that is how you told Royalty form peasent.
The Postman is an average movie, far to many people pan it; on the other hand Waterworld is a pure bomb.
Love of the Game is his most underrated movie.
