Why does Ginnifer Goodwin insist on having short hair?

She's far more attractive with long hair yet she refuses to grow out her hair and says she'll never have long hair again.

It the Keri Russell Effect. Ravishing with long hair, inexplicably decides to cut it off, is still attractive but nowhere near where she was with the long hair. Keri went back. Hopefully Ginnifer wakes up.
