George by a mile. Jerry had once accepted that he wouldn't be able to keep being friends with Elaine. He would have never done that with George.

I'm going with George as well. Remember, Jerry went ape shite when he realized he was about to live in the same building as Elaine....and plotted a scheme to prevent it from happening.

I'd say George with the caveat that he really doesn't like George very much at all. I'd say he likes Elaine as a person much more than George.

I feel like Elaine understood Jerry more and was more like him. If you asked him, he'd say George though

It's George by far… Remember Elaine was not in the first couple episodes. The show is fundamentally about Jerry and Larry David aka George… Kramer was originally just the wacky neighbor and Elaine was the female presence the show needed.
