I'm partial to Deniro's portrayal in Angel Heart.
However, for a pure acid-trip fun part, Maynard James Keenan (frontman for the band "Tool") gives an outrageously good performance in the film, The Bikini Bandits Experience.
The movie has an incomprehensible plot and story, but it is worth watching for Keenan's Satan.

Acting, I still like DiNiro best for his restraint. Pacino was really good, but in the end his tantrum sort of diminished what had until that moment been a pretty serious effort.
None of them looked as good as Elizabeth Hurley.
