I always loved Chow Yun-fat in all those late 80s/early 90s John Woo films...

Arnold.

Terminator
Predator
Total Recall.

Just those three would be good enough. BUT WAIT! There's MORE!

Throw in cheesy but unforgettable B-movies:
Commando
Running Man

And high end action flicks like True Lies.

Stallone is a close second. Hard to beat Rocky and Rambo.

Cruise

Cruise is weird because someone like Arnold, Stallone, Norris, etc. are purely action stars and nothing else.

Cruise has been in a shite ton of dramas, and a lot of his action credits are later in his career.

Also, there's the physicality aspect; cruise is a diminutive guy whereas everyone else looked like a body builder or had extensive martial arts training.

Cruise has arguably developed into the biggest movie star of all time, but I'd say Arnold is the greatest action star.

I loved seagels movies when he was younger. And before he got fat and weird. Liked van damn. Of course Bruce Lee.

When I was young, I got real into Chinese martial arts and me and my friends would watch Bruce Lee movies to get fired up before a tournament.
And there were no movies that represented the 80's like Barry Gordy's the last dragon! You had it all. Pop culture, parachute pants. The Great sho 'nuff.

Who's the master? Sho 'nuff. My teacher would tell me tails of what his teacher had to go through when the communist were taking over and he had to flee to Shanghai. At one point, he was the chief instructor of the emperor's bodyguards. The stories that were told of him sounded just like our of Saturday kung fu movie marathons.

The movie that jet li did about a famous master that founded The Chen woo athletic association is associated with the style we did. Had really good fighting techniques but no ground game. Was really about hitting fast and hard and ending it quick. Now for a good laugh I watch the bulshitto videos on YouTube.

Met some people that believed that shite. Never worked out for them for some reason. The couldn't believe that there chi no touch didn't actually work.

If Predator isn’t the greatest action movie of all time, then Terminator 2 is.

This is how you tell someone you have never seen Hard Boiled without saying you have never seen Hard Boiled. (The Killer and Bullet in the Head are better movies but Hard Boiled is best action movie of the three.)

To answer the question Jackie Chan and Chow Yun Fat.
