I saw Interstellar on the ultimate IMAX screen in Philly to where the whole screen was curved like it was a planetarium. That was amazing.

I feel like an old man when I see things in the Dome Imax. I saw Inception in it, and I was fricking dizzy halfway into the movie. That thing takes its toll on me, freaking young kids.

Since I won't be able to see it on 70mm, which is the better choice out of AMC IMAX and Cinemark XD?

I'm wondering the same. Does the AMC have recliners? Because that's a plus for Cinemark

Birmingham has one and it's awesome. I saw Star Wars there and it was great

Saw Dark Knight Rises, was cool but I hated the seating. Dunkirk will be showing, tempted to try it out.

4K Laser IMAX is about twice the resolution of the 70mm. They have had it at the Chattanooga Aquarium/IMAX theater for about 2 years now.

Laser IMAX - Chattanooga

This is the wave of the future for IMAX. It is pretty insane how awesome it is.

That one is a digital IMAX not 70mm

Not according to the list they put out of the ones showing in 70mm, and fandango shows it's 70mm

ETA: After further research they have it in 70mm, not IMAX 70mm

No it's not, especially not the 70mm IMAX

Nashville has one. I haven't gone yet, but I'm considering seeing Dunkirk there.

I drove from Memphis to see Interstellar in 70 mm IMAX at the theater in Nashville. Was worth the drive for me.

I saw Harry Potter at the dome IMAX in BHam's McWane Center and it was shite. The screen was stretched out and the edges were all fricked up. Could have been just that night as it's the only time I've been to one.

The one in Houston transitioned from 70mm to 4K digital. So, I'm guessing that is better? Big screen - 60'x80'

Which one is that? The Edwards Marq'e? I've seen a few there and it's bigger than normal but I feel like it was smaller than the 70mm I saw in Dallas.

I don't think any Harry Potters were made with IMAX in mind to be fair.
