He's a Titan, which I think is an offshoot of the celestials... So not really, until the infinity guantlet he's just a really powerful being: after he eclipse everything

the collector

Why would you say him?

Ronan the Accuser

He may be part like Starlord.

Thanos

He needs the gauntlet to wield the stones, so I don't think he is one.

I wanna say in Gaurdians 1, they mention that he is an ancient being or celestial when they are approaching his home world

Nowhere is a city built into the head of a dead Celestial. The Collector is just an ancient being who collects things.

Did they even say he was ancient? Gamora mentions that the Tivan Group went in hundreds of years ago to mine the head, and the Collector's maid names him as Taneleer Tivan. I just assumed he was some wealthy asshat that was part of that group who eccentrically collected all sorts of crap.

As for the OP's question, Gamora says that Knowhere was the severed head of an ancient celestil being, but didn't specifically say a celestial...though that may be splitting hairs so Knowhere might be the first. Then Ego. Ronan is just Kree, and Thanos is a Titan. So there's Ego and most likely whoever Knowhere was...that's it I think.

I'm going to avoid rereading all that as I'll just feel badly that I know that kind of stupid shite...

Ego, the collector, and the grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum).
Also, all but confirmed that Stan Lee is a watcher, maybe earth's watcher or maybe he above all (Marvel's actual god)

No. The Collector and The Grandmaster are not Celestials. They are members of the Elders of the Universe.

This. Ego is the only celestial we have dialog/scenes from. There was a celestial in The Collector's video about the Stones, and Knowhere as well. That's it.

They changed him for the movie universe. In the comics Ego is an Elder of the Universe, in the movie universe they made him a Celestial.

If I'm not mistaken, and I'd have to go through too many comics in my attic to be certain.

None of them are. All the ones I remember are armored head to toe, never see any of their faces.

Think he's talking MCU, not necessarily cannon. They've gone pretty far afield in the MCU so there are definitely changes.

Funny...my boys love these movies and have both a Marvel and DC encyclopedia they read through. After coming back from Vol 2, they immediately pulled out the Marvel one and started telling me all the changes they saw...

Personally, I'm not super familiar with a ton of Marvel backstory, so I'm cool with whatever changes they make for story reasons in the MCU.

E'son showed up in the Collecter's hologram. (Also teased as Peter Quills ancestor at one point)

Ego was given an origin as a celestial this time around.

I don't know who's head Know where is. So three so far.

Pretty sure ego is the only known cellestial at the moment. And I'll be Knowhere is Egos severed head.

huh?

Ego's brain was at the center of his planet. He literally explained how he did it when talking to Quill and showed him building layer upon layer on top of it.

Knowhere, as explained by Gamora (assuming she actually knows though it may just be legend) is the SEVERED HEAD of an ancient celestial being...meaning it was severed from a body.

So we'd be talking about a being that was enormous in size...think Galactus.

Thread jacking a little on cosmic entities. Think we'll get Hercules if wonder woman flops and a marvel studios drunk on its own power says "watch this!"?

I'd prefer Disney go all in and buy back Fantastic Four and bring them into the fold...so much good stuff there to work with, especially is you're going to burn Thanos with Infinity Wars. Going to need another big bad to be out there...could be Doom. You've got Galactus...I always loved Silver Surfer as a kid, etc.
