While no one was watching Fear the Walking Dead, it actually got watchable.

I hadn't been watching and had quit on it but just got caught up doing a background watch while getting some work done. Found it's legs the last few eps and is actually pretty good now. The most recent two eps were very good.

Yup I agree. Can't wait to see Travis and his serial killer son part ways

It was pretty stupid of them to air directly against Game of Thrones. I wonder how many viewers they lost there.

Kind of agree. However, I still want most of the characters to get eaten.

Its still pretty disjointed with some of the plot lines that move painfully slow.

I caught this weeks episode live, I have about 8-10 back episodes on the DVR and I really don't feel like I missed much. So they got to Mexico, got separated and I still don't really care about any of them. I don't particularly hate anyone and I don't particularly like anyone. I'm thinking about taking it out of the DVR rotation, although the fact that back seasons aren't on NetFlix make me wonder if AMC is going to let this one stream.

I haven't missed an episode, but I really don't care. It's a boring, derivative show that has basically approximated every single narrative from the original. The latest episode did much of the same. The pier scene was the most original thing to happen and I was still hoping a shark would eat the bitch.

I have stuck with it from the beginning and I just don't think I can make myself any longer. I was watching Sundays episode and got towards the end with Chris is about to play soccer with the kids and just kind of had a "who the hell cares" moment. It is boring, the characters aren't developing, there is no season enemy to unite them against, and there is no hope in the show. Walkind Dead always has the feeling of things possibly getting better or at least revenge. Fear is just miserable.

I do like how it is more colorful and not as grim as TWD. Additionally, the characters of Nick and Madison are interesting, especially Nick.

It has potential for more, so I'll stick with it.

i havent watched it but i've kind of kept up with it. what is now the difference between the plot scenario of FTWD and TWD?

is FTWD now just the same move/stay put/fight zombies/fight evil people story as the original?

Yes. I almost quit it, but it has improved lately.

Still not a favorite, but it's watchable.

do they still have the "herion addict" with long black hair and abs ? or the other children who all can't help but get themselves in "danger prone Daphne" type trouble ? if so, I'm still out!

It's a little too late for me. Lost all interest in this series.
Sunday Night Football will knock the hell out of any ratings it still has.

I quit after the 1st or 2nd episode of season 2. I could probably watch the next episode and feel caught up.

I've liked the last two episodes.

Travis/his son's storyline got good now that the met those bros.
The hotel storyline is weak but made some decent progression this week
Nick's storyline is intriguing just for the guy who claims to have survived the bite

Then we have ol' girl still out there somewhere and maybe her dad is out there too.

Been liking the second half of this season. One gripe i have is these dumbasses taking a van with the hotel name on it around the city and then turning on the hotel lights at night. Just put a sign out to every criminal in the area to come take over your compound.
