As a fan of both, Star Trek is far nerdier than Star Wars.

I'm more Star Trek than Star Wars and I can't agree with "far" - but nerdier for sure (in a good way - more math and science oriented. Many Star Wars fans, particularly the group that does not overlap Star Trek fans, are more generally fans of "action" cinema. Star Trek fans have a lot more in common with fans of classic science fiction, and, therefore more nerdy).

I am a HUGE SW geek. I am a casual Star Trek fan.
Star Trek is much nerdier than Star wars.

Star Trek by an extremely wide margin. Everyone knows who Han Solo is. Far fewer know who William Riker is.

Star Trek fans invented nerd culture.
Star Wars fandom is a bastardized version of what Star Trek aficionados created. And the original Star Trek fans created their society in a culture that looked down on science fiction and had canceled their show and relegated it to reruns.
Star Wars fans are pussies.

Star Trek for sure. Star Trek actually try to make sense scientifically, where as Star Wars shows someone like Han Solo can operate a fully functional space ship as if it was a simple car.

Star Trek and it is not close. As stated above Star Trek is far more into science etc

Trekkies were the first nerds. I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I do like Star Trek also.

trek for sure. I mean......they even call themselves "trekies" for god's sake.

Well sure, I mean, they proved the existence of a Dyson Sphere for God's sake.

I agree.
I like Star Trek more...but my dad was a Trekkie so it probably rubbed off.

Star Wars is barely science fiction. It's more fantasy than anything else.
Not that whether it's sci-fi or not is relevant to how nerdy it is. Lord of the Rings may be more nerdy than Star Wars.

Doctor Who fans think neither of y'all are true geeks.

trekies
And I wasn't seriously asking the question. It's just the name of the video.
Star Wars movies were better, though, even with all things considered.

Does not compute. Trekkies don't copulate.

I have no issues with this. In their universe they have had space flight for over 10,000 years. You think in 10,000+ years of frying space ships you will have made them as easy as driving a car is. (think how hard a Model T was to drive compared to a modern car)
