Just finished it up. Obviously it wasn't a complete episode like Battle of the Bastards or Blackwater, or even if the season 6 finale.

The ending was just great television.

Yep.

Opening scene of Winds of Winter was amazing too. The piano and the suspense and finally realizing what will ultimately happen

Hard home was great because 1) you had heard sparingly about it in the books and didn't know how it went down 2) everything about it was great.

Yeah that was a great change from the books to the show.

It was difficult to place it ahead of Baelor, Rains of Castamere, and Blackwater. But after awhile I was pretty certain it was number 1. So it jumped to the top of my list.

Then Winds of Winter happened.

I agree. Hard home the ending came out of nowhere. Battle of the Bastards everyone had a feeling it would be epic

Top 10.

Great battle scene, but there wasnt much going on in that episode otherwise.

Great episode, it's underrated. I think Watcher's on the Wall is underrated also.

Tyrion has two great scenes with Dany. I love the first scene as Tyrion describes what he knows about her history/advises her on what to do with Jorah.

Top 5 for sure. Arguably top 3. The only episodes I definitely have above it are the last two episodes.

I disagree. There were some great scenes with Theon/Sansa, Tyrion/Dany, and even some interesting (albeit short) scenes of Cersei in prison.

It's a fantastic episode, but the first half being slow keeps it out of top 3 for me

The last twenty minutes is definitely top 3

Winds of winter first 15 minutes still gives me chills

We finally got Tyrion and Dany we together in conversation, and Sansa finally learned that her brothers were alive.

Book readers still haven't got to see Tyrion and Dany together, even though it keeps getting teased. And the hit their conversations in Hardhome out of the park.

And that scene with Sansa laying into Reek until Reek finally can't take anymore, and let's it out that her brothers are alive was a very good scene. I thought both actors acted the hell out of the scene.

It definitely goes into my top 5, and maybe my top 3.
