The Most Dangerous Game (1932) based on the short story. 100% on rotten tomatoes

Vladimir Mashkov as Zaroff
Matthew McConaughey as Rainsford...maybe Leo

I normally would hate the idea of touching one of the top 5 but if they could stay away from political bias and nail the casting Citizen Kane would be fun right now.

So many I can think of:

Davey Crockett
Flash Gordon
The Black Hole
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Krull
Weird Science
Congo
The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones

Honestly, I'm shocked this has not been remade by now. I still like the 1980 version, but I would love to see a remake.

This idea has been done several times, though not the exact story. Surviving the Game with Ice T and Hard Target with Van Damme are a few examples.

Flight of the Navigator could be a cool remake in the right hands.

And that isn't because the original isn't deserving or isn't great, it is, I just want to see a new take.
