What're some old movies/tv shows you've wiped the dust off lately?

NOT ASKING FOR YOUR FAVORITES. JUST ASKING WHAT CLASSIC MOVIES YOU'VE WATCHED LATELY

I've seen some of these newer movies that're decent... at best. The last "new" movie I've watched and laughed out loud for was Ted 2.. So just out of nostalgia and frustration, I blew the dust of some classics the past couple of months.

Top Gun
Dazed and Confused
How High
American Pie (I like all of them... but the newer ones get weird because Stifler's distant cousin is a main character.)
Friday
Austin Powers (Goldmember is my favorite)

I really can keep going on and on but....

Outside of sports, the Walking Dead and Big Bang Theory.. I don't watch TV. But I've been watching That 70's Show lately.

I have been watching Mary Tyler Moore recently...even though it is a sin on this board to like shows with laugh tracks and "set 'em up knock 'em down" jokes, sometimes that is exactly what I want in the evening.

Shocked that any of these are considered "old" - except maybe Top Gun, which is turning 30 next year.

I watched a bit of Citizen Kane the other day. Man, that's a treat. I'm watching Twilight Zone episodes when I work out now. I actually missed more of those over the years than I thought.

Since its Halloween, I got Nightmare on Elm St 3 on digital HD. Plan on watching that tonight at a friends house after we carve some pumpkins. Also watched Platoon a few nights ago.

If your child was conceived the night you took your lady to see American Pie, it would be 3 months into its Freshman year of high school right now.

I just don't consider high school freshmen old, baw.

I concede that I'm old. I even consider movies in the 70s and even early 80s are starting to get some age on them. But, to describe a film like American Pie as "old" or a "classic" seems ludicrous to me.

But, maybe I'm the only one.

Well for me its a double thing. I saw that movie when I was in high school, and to think that a kid born that year is now old enough to be in high school is kinda crazy.

30-35 is an interesting age.

I watched the first Hellraiser recently. I hadn't seen that movie since I was a teenager. It has some flaws, but the story is good and the mythology is quite interesting (though bizarre). Barker has a twisted imagination for sure.
