What We Do in the Shadows (vampire mockumentary) was the funniest film that I've seen in the past year.

I think that may be my last one too.

I just wait for comedies to come to Netflix/HBO/ Redbox. I really only go to theaters for movies I need that theater experience.

I am as big of a film cynic as there is and I'm very critical of comedy, but I have seen and enjoyed each of the following films in the midst of their theatrical run.

Horrible Bosses
Horrible Bosses 2
The Lego Movie
22 Jump Street

All of these have been released within the last four years and I found myself laughing nonstop with each of them.

Tried to watch it this past weekend and turned it off halfway through. Just terrible.

I think the last one I saw in theaters was Knocked Up.

I know that really isn't answering your question but I guess I've taken a long hiatus from the theaters.

As I said, it "got me to the theatres". I was pretty ok with it at first but upon second and third viewing I have enjoyed it much more. That vampire movie now has me intrigued.

Not liking a movie isn't trolling. I liked the first one, hence why I wanted to see the sequel. I thought the scenes with Ice Cube were hilarious in the second one, but overall the movie was terrible and not worth my time to finish.
