And don't give me any of the current ones, those are meh at best. I wouldn't call any of them big hits.

Seems like they haven't had any really big comedies in a while.

I like Raising Hope.

But before that. I couldn't name one.

Ditto, and Arrested Development would be the answer.

New Girl is gay.

Malcolm in the Middle was underrated. frick that show Til Death, mainly because WGN just bumped always sunny reruns for it

Falls in the Scrubs category for me. The best character is effeminate but still brings the lulls.

Sunny got a laugh from me last night. The shusher episode and Mack trying to find the online nudes

I did not even remember this one, could have been good if done right...

quote:

Method & Red, sometimes written Meth and Red, is a short lived television program that ran on FOX from June 16 to September 15, 2004. It starred hip hop recording artists Method Man & Redman, portraying fictionalized versions of themselves who move to a predominately white upper-class suburb in New Jersey.

FOX cancelled the show in September 2004 with 4 of the 13 produced episodes remaining unaired after heated meetings with Method Man & Redman, who were not pleased with the show.
The duo publicly bashed FOX several times after this. Method Man was disappointed about the series for having a laugh track and FOX doing a bad job on editing. He had wanted it to be in the vein of Arrested Development, of which he is a fan.

Only saw a couple, but just from that I poached a line I've used about 500 times. Andy, trying to explain the experience of going on a date to see Mama Mia said "All I heard was Gay,Gay,Gay."

Don't know if it's been mentioned and I think a lot of people hated on it, but I liked Malcom in the Middle...guess that was at last 5+ years ago though.
