Just finished my rewatch.

Bobby's death was tough to watch.

The stripper Ralph beat to death was tough as well

And frick you David Chase, was equally pissed about the final scene on my 3rd rewatch. That scene was perfect and you ruin it with a troll job. I just assume Tony is dead.

He treated that girl like dog shite. Now, she was too stupid to either get out or not get killed, but he should have been flayed for that, Ramsay-style.

I liked Johnny sac and didn't like to see him go, but the arc where he got sick and died was absurdly condensed. It couldn't have been more then two episodes.

I'm rewatching, and I'm about 4 episodes from the series finale.

The more I watch this show, the more I think there is a viable 'alternative' ending. From the time the show started, Tony was involved in a 'second rate' group: they always had to cave to New York, they were seen as a 'glorified crew' and they were generally an afterthought.

When the series ended, Tony fought a war with NY and essentially won.

From one perspective, you can look at Tony Soprano's final scene as a man at the height of his power. He'd lost every relative and friend he'd ever made to get there, but he had made the NJ 'crew' an independent family.

As to the OP question... I think Vito's death was the most uncomfortable. Vito was the best earner in NJ and he did not deserve to go out like that.

Big Puss's death I'd the highlight of the series to me. They loved dude. Understood why he did it. Yet he had to go. And they did it. He understood why. That whole boat ride was uneasy

"Long Term Parking"… aka Adrianna's death. You realize about half way through the car ride… oh shite, she's going down. Then Silvio chasing her as she crawls through the leaves… crazy.

Most of the others were somewhat deserved, they were bad people, Adrianna was just kind of dumb and naive. I'll never forget the final scene of that episode when they Park her car at the airport and just leave it for there for 'Long term parking'

The stripper was fricked up, but Adriana's was probably the only death in the whole thing that was sad. Like you said, she was just naive. She trusted that bitch and thought she was her friend. At the end of her life, everyone is completely cold - the FBI agents who set her up, Spider by the time he ditches her car, and of course Silvio.
