Bewitched is an all timer, thank you TV Land and Tbs for playing reruns as a kid.

Everybody was secretly in love with Elizabeth Montgomery.

They used to give you an hour of Bewitched back to back in the 80s if you played hookey.

I love Lucy
Gidget
Flying Nun
Bewitched for an hour
Six million dollar man
Chips
Bionic woman

Then noon time and lunch.

But out of that line-up, you were waiting for Montgomery.

I like when they switched Darrens, they didn't try to explain it, they just gave zero fricks.

But that Mrs. Kravitz, just wow. I sure would have given her something to watch.

Well, we know the second Darrin wasn't passionate for her.

The show balanced fantasy and the tropes of a sitcom of the day fairly well. They also delivered some fairly impressive acting performances by Agnes Moorhead (in an iconic role of the stereotypical meddling mother-in-law who is literally a witch) and the inimitable Paul Lynde. Both Darrens had to balance a range of physical humor, straight man, fish out of water (when among the witches themselves) and still pull off the leading man/father of a sitcom family. I liked Dick York better here, but Sergeant was good, as well.

The show was a little more thoughtful than Jeannie (IMHO). Although Barbara Eden > Elizabeth Montgomery, it's pretty close.

Anyone else remember this movie?... The Legend of Lizzie Borden - Elizabeth Montgomery (full movie)

When she got naked to kill her parents and then washed the blood off it was probably my first weird boner moment.

It was awesome and Elizabeth Montgomery was a hottie and this is coming from somebody who remembers the original series before syndication.

Darrin Stephens was obviously the original Don Draper.
