There are leaps in logic in all three films. The biggest one is in Batman Begins with the microwave emitter vaporizing the city's water supply. A machine that powerful, even if the waves are focused, would boil every person in Gotham City because 75% of the human body is made of water.

This is exactly my argument, if both realities produced the same end result, THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SHOWING THAT SCENE?!?! It didn't change anything in the present!

Not a movie, but a tv show plot hole I can't seem to get my head around is that in The Walking Dead you can get bitten and you will turn into a zombie, but you can basically bathe in zombie blood but not turn. You can get all the zombie blood you want in your mouth, eyes and nose and you're fine. But one bite and....BOOM, it's over for you.

There's also the issue of whether or not they'd even think about letting us live. If they were that more intelligent than us, then what would be the point of letting us live? It would be the equivalent of us digging up an earthworm

Let me tell all you bastards something: when the USA wins, it's never a plot hole! I don't care if it's aliens or dinosaurs, they've never seen the likes of the stars and bars. Add Jeff Goldblum to the party and they're just straight fricked.

Walking Dead bothers me too. They also are terrified of scratches, yet Darrel will shoot an arrow through the head of one and then put it in his mouth to hold it. Its a fantasy world, they can change transmission, but they probably could have explained it to the audience. No one has ever shown the faintest concern about blood borne contagion.

Spoiler:

And then they do when Hershel gets bit, hacking his leg off so "tainted" blood doesn't run up his leg and turn him. Huh?

Haven't read to see if this was responded to, but has value other than jewelry or currency. It is a very valuable conductor in the electronics industry. Perhaps it is very important in running their ships.

I don't think Signs ever said what amount of water was toxic. Getting splashed with it was obviously a problem, but perhaps small amounts was not. Kinda like 75 degree heat is fine, 120 will kill you.

It is the basic rule of toxicology. Dose makes the poison.

Well yeah.. he took advantage of Batman being temporarily incapacitated to make his escape.

That's not a plot hole.

Actually, this is not true. They have learned that they are all "infected." That was the big revelation at the end of Season 3. Shane is killed by a gunshot wound without being bitten or scratched. He then reanimates, showing that the "infection" turns corpses and not humans into zombies. It seems that the bites and scratches have been the source of bleeding and normal blood infection which led to their deaths. The elevated temperatures and illness could be the result of any number of known (in reality) infections.

Like I said, they realize that they are all infected when Shane reanimates. That said, I'm not 100% sure why he needed to cut the leg. If you think logically, though, a zombie's mouth is probably nastier than a gila monster. So, whereas it may not "turn you," it may infect your blood, causing you to die slowly, then reanimate.

The comic seems to go into more detail on what they know about everyone being infected.

Not to mention the value of gold isn't an accident, it's nearly a perfect metal in a lot of ways.

Home Alone is up there too. The family gets stuck at the airport and instead of renting a car to get back home they choose to ride with a traveling polka band?
