A friend who has never seen South Park said she'd watch a season. I gotta tell her which one.

The Fourth grade season was pretty epic.

Season 6 is the best season. It's the one where the show takes the most risks and makes some of it's greatest hits. Not a single stinker in that season. It's the season where we get introduced to Professor Chaos, City Wok Guy, Mr. Slave, Chad from Aspen, and the classic Lord of the Rings episode they made an entire game around. It is the best season.

Really, Seasons 5-11 are the golden age, but 6 is the peak of it.

Uh no.

I wouldn't watch a season. I'd pick about 10 great episodes. None before season 5.

Start with Scott Tenorman Must Die.

Personally I think the very early seasons have aged terribly.

I would also do Imagionationland Trilogy. It's very accessible for people who may not be fans.

Agreed. Pip was just an awful butt monkey from the start, and it's really when they started figuring out Butters is when the show got good. If Matt and Trey were as skilled as they were now, no way in hell would they have made most of those early episodes. Seasons 5-11, I have no doubt they'd make those episodes again like they were. 1-3 mostly rely on shock value than hilarity as some of the later ones did.

This. The seasons don't generally have any continuity and there are great episodes sprinkled throughout the show's run.

Assume picking great episodes would be too complicated.

Hulu has all but the banned episodes up and I have gone through all of them multiple times. I never get tired of any episodes. It is cool to see how the show has evolved.

Whatever you do, she needs to watch the "Butter's Bottom Bitch" episode and I can't remember the name of the episode, but it is the Tiger Woods episode where Stan, Butters, and Kenny get labeled sex addicts.

Once she is familiar with the characters, show her Make Love, Not Warcraft episode. It's the GOAT South Park episode, but it's not as great if you aren't familiar with the characters and their personalities.

I'd watch Woodland Critter Christmas and then Imaginationland for sure.

The ski episode. Butters fakes his death episode.

Love pretty much all of those except for a million little fibers.
