Plot needs to start moving a bit faster.
Loving the show but they are drawing it out too much

Yup. I should be able to sit back at end of season and say wow, so that is where they were going or else it's all for nothing.

I'm kind of getting tired of Maeve's storyline. Lutz and Sylvester are complete bitches and should be fired. Maeve cannot offer them anything yet they're risking their jobs for her? And why do no other employees notice when Maeve is strolling through the building? GTFO

Maeve is offering them their jobs via blackmail. They are risking their jobs to save their jobs(and their side "projects.")

Yes but they can still shut her down. That is the weird part.

I agree, but aren't they trying to make this 5 seasons? I don't see nearly that much material in this show, so maybe that's why its going so slow. I'm still enjoying it though...mostly due to Ed Harris and Anthony Hopkins.

I've got three episodes in the queue to watch and I can't get excited to do so
I've been keeping up on recaps though and I agree they need to trust the audience to pick up on the big themes while moving the story forward
at this pace I'm not sure it gets renewed

Wait, is that true? I thought this was a one-off series. There is no possible way I hang on for 5 seasons at this pace.

even if it were true, season one should close a story instead of leaving stories open at the end.
While I would love to see them explore into the futureworld and medieval world ideas, not sure they can tell full stories involving them after they finish this one and there has been no mention of them so far.

Yes I do agree its a weird scenario. They could shut her down but then the boss man would be asking why one of their main attractions is not active and the jig would be up.

True. Now that I'm thinking it through, they aren't supposed to know how to shut her down, erase, and reboot her.

So pumped, shits about to go down

naming the episode trick of the eye is interesting

It has been known since day one that this show would be more than one season and is the eventual successor to GoT for HBO.
If you can't hang on then stop watching. Go watch some Netflix series starring Adam Sandler that you can burn through in 10 hours.

They can shut her down, but Maeve has already proven multiple times that she can wake up whenever she wants.
So no, turning her off is not a viable option.

Can't they cut off her head and effectively shut her off?
Posted on 11/13/16 at 8:20 pm to Motorboat
Wow. She is immune to their Jedi mind trick

Lol I guess, but she would just go back into circulation the next day.

That's pretty fricked up. Bernard is the scapegoat.
