Batman V Superman........... For 3/4 of the movie

Do I even need to go see this movie anymore?
Seems like they have done their damnedest to spoil every single plot point.
Obviously its the kind of flick where the good guys are going to win but holy hell I'd like to not know the entire fricking story beat for beat before I see a movie.

First off, I read yesterday that WB decided to skip the super bowl this year so that would mean no trailer. Second, the DC movies just aren't very good. Whoever is handling their animated features should be doing their live action movies because their cartoons are dark, gritty, violent, and they work....quite well actually.

I'm not trying to be a hardass, but I really want to know why you and a lot of internet commentors are so sure of this. We have seen perhaps five minutes of footage from a 2.5 hour film. Why do you think the producers and directors would lay it all out? They have said they haven't, yet a lot of people remain convinced.

Why do any movie trailers give away everything about the film? Nobody likes when it happens, its always obnoxious, yet they do it anyway.

Are they full of shite or full of themselves? I'm trying to follow the logic of the argument here. Someone said they have no idea what is happening from The Civil War trailer. From watching the trailer, I know that the Government is trying to kill the Winter Soldier, which makes Cap distrustful and lines up against Government Control and the Heroes supporting him. I know who is fighting who and which side they take. I don't feel the whole movie is spoiled.

Both. Listening to their interviews, it's clear they have no understanding on what the fans are bitching about. My guess is the big twist at the end is Luthor comes in with a metal suit, and that's it. I still know the entire damn plot of the movie.

That's the set up though. All I know about it is the government is after the Winter Soldier, Captain America protects him, and then Iron Man gathers some more people together to fight him. I'm honestly not sure about the actual plot points though. I guarantee that if I and several other posters did a plot by plot checklist on BvS, it would be spot fricking on. I definitely don't have enough info to do that with Civil War.

Did you read this after you wrote it? I think your hate of this film borders on obsessive while giving Civil War a pass when you obviously know the story which you claim not to. If Batman V Superman sucks when it comes out- I'll be the first to say it... but you've already decided on five minutes of footage.

Zack Snyder is straight full of shite. His basic response to anyone who criticized Man of Steel was essentially to try and claim he was being more true to the comics and people who didn't like it were butthurt that it wasn't like the Donner flicks which is incredibly arrogant and dismissive. He did a similar thing w/Watchmen when it didn't do as well as Warner hoped and started saying people simply didn't understand that it was satire. 
Then, for him to have the balls to dismiss Marvel flicks as flavor of the week type movies when he is directing a flick that is incredibly overstuffed w/characters and being made by Warner Bros specifically b/c The Avengers was so successful shows such an incredible lack of self awareness that its hard to take anything he says w/o a MASSIVE grain of salt.

I hope this film is good because I'm really looking forward to it. Everything I don't want Batman V Superman to be...funny, bloody, and irreverent.

It has nothing to do with not trusting a person who has been unwilling to admit making a mistake or thinks his comic book films are meaningful and daring takes on the source material while everyone else is making popcorn fluff. No no no. Its just Marvel vs DC!

So he made a movie that you didn't like and he still believes in his film despite your opinion. So you just think he's an a-hole who doesn't listen to you?
