Just when it looks like WB is making some good decisions, they go and pull some shite like this. Let sleeping dogs lie. Move on from these people involved with the past DC projects and bring in fresh eyes.

This news and the Matrix reboot garbage is pretty dissapointing stuff coming out of WB.

WB is full of fricking morons that simply do not fricking get it.

This is the worst possible news.

The day that WB allowed Snyder and Goyer any involvement whatsoever with DC properties is the day they signed their own death warrant on great movies they could've made using the most famous comic book characters ever known.

At a certain point it becomes irresistible to not watch a DC movie by Snyder and Goyer. Not because it will be good... but because of the sheer car crash nature of the offerings. You know that it will be bad, you just want to see what particular flavor of awful it will be.

BLADE: TRINITY Director David Goyer May End Up Helming GREEN LANTERN CORPS

We heard last night that Warner Bros. want to put one of five projects on the fast track so that they can be released alongside Aquaman in 2018, but could Green Lantern Corps be it? Well, on the latest addition of Meet The Movie Press, Tracking-Board E-i-C Jeff Sneider revealed that David Goyer, who is currently writing the screenplay alongside Justin Rhodes, may step into the director's chair! It's noted on the show that Goyer, "could very well wind up directing Green Lantern Corps himself," and that may not be music to the ears of some fans. After all, the writer's work has often proven to be divisive, while his crack at the superhero movie genre crashed and burned with Blade: Trinity.

I don't go with anything that's thrown out during a YouTube podcast. This is right up there with that "Wonder Woman is a mess" comment.

frick it.
Let Goyer direct.
Bring back Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan.
Put him back in an all CGI suit.
See how horrible the fricking thing can be.

They've talked about John Stewart being in there. I think that's where the whole "Lethal Weapon in space" talk got started.
Toss in Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner too, what the frick.

Cool but that's not why DC is making these movies.

They're making them to turn a profit and they lost a shite ton of money on BvS as it didn't even make the budget back; they were shooting for close to 1.4 billion with it, they only got 868 million.

You wold think that profit motive would be to fire all the guys who are not bringing in profits and bring in fresh minds that are competent and love the characters.
