Watching Season 4 of Homeland

Am I the only person that can't get past the fact that there is no way in fricking hell that Carrie would have reached her elevated position in the CIA with all the baggage she has?

Mild thread hijack, but is this series worth the watch? I'm looking for a new show to binge in the next couple of weeks.

I watched 3 episodes of HoC and couldnt get into it.
I like Homeland aside from a few cases of suspense of disbelief.
For instance, they keep indicating Clare Danes is hot enough to seduce people.

What is wrong with you? I'm not "making it political". I'm just giving you a real-world example to show you that Carrie getting a high position within the CIA with all her "baggage" isn't unrealistic.

Homeland is great. Seasons 4 and 5 are terrific. I think it's worth the watch for sure

No, you're not off at all. Carrie is looney tunes. But season 4 is when the series starts making a comeback, and season 5 is solid TV.
