The frick are you talking about?

Walter went from a chemistry teacher who was constantly being pushed around to a fricking criminal mastermind and the biggest cook in the country....

If you don't think Walter is a different man now than he was in the first season then you obviously haven't seen what he is capable of in Season 4.

Anyone who criticizes the walking dead for "being slow" is missing the bigger picture. Obviously they want constant action like they expect from a Zombie movie. This isn't going to happen, they would burn through their material way to fast.

We complain about it "being slow" because the only time the show is watchable is when there is action taking place. The Walking Dead's great failing is that it sucks as a tv show. As it is a TV show, this is kind of a huge problem. What takes place most of the time in any tv drama are two people just talking to one another. If your show is excruciating to watch when character interact with one another, it has huge problems. Don't give me some claptrap about character evolution.

Also, if you think Walter White has not changed over the course of the show you are crazy. He is not a teacher and isn't even a meth dealer at this point in the show. In five seasons (which at this point as only taken over one year of time), we have watched a normal boring guy slowly evolve into the monster that is Heisenberg.

Okay, I can't help myself. The worst fricking part of Walking Dead is all this bullshite talk about being and becoming a leader. No one talks like this. Don't talk about leading, just fricking do it. The show analyses itself and its infuriating. It would be like Walter White and Jesse siting around comparing and contrasting the management style of Tuco and Gus.

The first episode of the Walking Dead is money. I stopped watching after the fifth episode or so. It got to be a bit ridiculous and mired down in its own muck, even for a zombie apocalypse show.

Breaking Bad evolves slowly. As was stated in a previous thread ranking the seasons, the typical response was 4, 3, 2, 1, meaning that it gets better every season. That said, I've been a Breaking Bad guy since episode one, so I can't compare your stance of not liking it that much to learning to like it later.

But watch what you like, man. Who gives a shite?

Yeah, I don't think you've watched Breaking Bad. Probably just heard about it somewhere. For many reasons, but I'll just point out that 5 seasons = less than 2 years in his life.

As far as fan bases go that is losers (WD) vs. cool people (BB). Hope that helps.

Spoilers

Spoilers

Walt bought a car wash in season four. The one where he worked part-time in season one. The day he quit working at the car wash he flipped his boss off as he walked out the door. Bogdan, the car wash owner, wasn't looking to sell his business and Walt was the last person on earth he wanted to do a favor for. Walt's wife, Skyler, goes along with Walt's attorney and they scam Bogdan into selling. The Whites launder millions through the car wash.

I think not only Walter, but also Skyler have both evolved.

yup 4 seasons of BB are real time less than 1 year. So the action really does move fast, it's just told in such a detailed and dedicated way.

Isn't Walt fired mid way through Season 2? I'd take the principal to pound town too.

Season 2 survived a crew change successfully and if you haven't seen the last 3/4 episodes of it then you are missing the whole point. They (and us watching) were supposed to get comfortable with the idea of the farm. That way when they have to abandon it we feel their loss as well. Rick finally becomes the badass leader that Shane said he wasn't. .... Rick has evolved from a beta male and ineffective cop to a true leader for the group. From being the one to step forward and get rid of Sophia to tricking Shane and killing him to his comment about how the group wasn't a democracy anymore. Rick has consolidated his power.

I've never seen The Walking Dead, but do you have any idea how lame you made it sound?
