I have been watching breaking bad through season 3 1st episode;I think its ok. I have never been dying to watch it like lost or GoT. Ppl tell me it picks up and gets pretty good. Im just not "in love" with Walt

I watched the first episode of the walking dead and really enjoyed it. I have heard the first 2 seasons are worth a watch. I know the m/tv board holds both in high regard.

Any advice on which to continue?

Both is my answer

But for you, as you said you are on season 3 of BB, if you don't like it by now, don't bother, I was hooked from the first scene of episode one of season 1.
Walking dead is another amazing show, I am still trying to find the last 3 episodes online since I have not seen them yet

Don't watch a show if you don't like it just because other people like it

This however season 4 of BB is probably the best single season of television ever.....

I think Breaking Bad is infinitely better than the Walking Dead, but if you aren't hooked after three season maybe it isn't for you.

Walking Dead quickly goes bad after the first episode. Season 2 is especially bad.

Walking dead is overrated and I love zombie shite. Bad acting and boring story line( I quit after a few weeks in season 2). Breaking bad is great acting and season 3 and four are as intense as on screen drama can get.

Yep, Walking Dead is pretty much a guilty pleasure type show while BB has been well recognized for excellence in both writing and acting. I watch both.

This isn't even a question. Walking Dead is retarded when compared to Breaking Bad...unless you like watching women argue over who is going to do the dishes in the zombie apocolypes

Walking dead is a good show. It's a little slow at times, but it still holds a good line.

Well one show has only 19 episodes. The other is working on its fifth season.

One had problems with the creative team and did its best to fix it without scraping the whole show. The other, from what I understand through interviews with the cast, things have always ran smoothly.

One show has to create a world. The other is a show about what happens in your neighbor's back yard shed.

Don't try to compare the two. But what both it's not like someone is stopping you.

Kind of funny you bring this up, because I just started watching Breaking Bad (and Walking Dead). I have found myself interested in the story but not "enthralled" by the series, though I agree that the acting good. I think I just find Walt, a smart man, does really effing dumb things. And then he does more... that bugs me.

But it's good enough that I will keep checking out the remaining episodes.

Coming from someone who watched the entire first season of TWD in one day, it's gotten idiotic lately. It's almost on the level of Shaun of the Dead where I can't tell if it's a parody or not.

Well I guess that makes you a expert. Watching a 6 episode season in one day.

If you've only watched one episode of season 3 with Breaking Bad you should continue. The last two seasons have been amazing, maybe the best consecutive seasons of TV I have ever seen.

So stick with BB

Walking Dead will go quicker and is a better show. Both are good though.

BB is way better than Walking Dead. I like them both, but lets be real... Walking Dead is like a soap opera at times.

Breaking Bad is better in my opinion, but I've never been much into zombies and stuff like that so my opinion on the shows was biased from the start.

Anyone who criticizes the walking dead for "being slow" is missing the bigger picture. Obviously they want constant action like they expect from a Zombie movie. This isn't going to happen, they would burn through their material way to fast.

They are always going to have places they stay that seem safe and slow ie Hershels Farm, the Prison, Alexandria. If they fought Zombie's every day it would just be an overly long zombie movie anthology. The show/comic aren't about the zombies it is about the group dynamic in a world overran by Zombies.

Season 2 survived a crew change successfully and if you haven't seen the last 3/4 episodes of it then you are missing the whole point. They (and us watching) were supposed to get comfortable with the idea of the farm. That way when they have to abandon it we feel their loss as well.

Rick finally becomes the badass leader that Shane said he wasn't. Walter hasn't really evolved on Breaking Bad. Its still teacher with terminal cancer (who isn't dead after 5 seasons?) is a meth dealer.

Rick has evolved from a beta male and ineffective cop to a true leader for the group. From being the one to step forward and get rid of Sophia to tricking Shane and killing him to his comment about how the group wasn't a democracy anymore. Rick has consolidated his power.

You talk that back. TWD is no where near the greatness that is Shaun of the Dead
