Yeah, there really hasn't even been anything happening that could be spoiled. There has been I think two deaths of minor characters and few deaths of close to completely irrelevant characters. This show is dead if some thing exciting doesn't happen this week.

This is the decision I have made with it. I am no longer devoting an hour of my sunday to a show that could tell the whole season's story in 4 episodes, yet stretches it to 14.

If Negan is so bad, why don't they just move on.

I've always seen this as a massive plot hole. I know they have a good thing going in Alexandria but it's not worth being an indentured servant and living in fear. Especially with walkers being less prominent, why not just ship out and find a new community far away from Negan's reach.

People here bitch about it because it there hasn't been any real action since the first episode. They are building characters this season so it has been far more dialogue than running and gunning.

These are the same people that bitched about them killing off characters too fast and said we never got to connect with them.

I wouldn't listen to 99% of the fricktards here as most of them have proven that no matter what, they will bitch about it but yet, for some reason, every Sunday, there they are watching.

The farm season was one of my favorite seasons. I like the day to day strain the characters go through though and don't care as much for the zombie stuff.

This guy gets it. The comics were never about the zombies. They are just a minor threat in this world. As long as it's not a horde of them, they are just an annoyance more than anything. The real threat is other people and funding resources. This season, like the farmhouse episodes, expresses that perfectly.

This is really the only thing I've thought of that might be a complaint. But, then I just enjoy the show around it. I suppose it could be said that the Saviors have all roads out of town blocked with their numbers. Or perhaps it's just too much to undertake to move that many people at one time, but I'm not too sure about that.

The problem with the farm season and this season isn't that there aren't enough zombies. It's the presentation of what you are saying the show is really about. They take a conflict, and then then stretch it out way beyond what it makes any sense to do from a story telling perspective to the point where people get bored with it.

They set up a problem that should be a 1 episode arc and then stretch it out over the course of 3 episodes. They set up something that should be a half season arc and stretch it over an entire season. For the farm season, an example of this was the Sophie arc. By the time they found her the audience has lost the impact of her ever being lost.

This has always kind of been a problem with the show where it goes into lulls with kind of pointless filler, but this last season has been the worst for it so far. They are spreading it way thin.

I actually didn't see it this way at all. When they found her I realized I should've known all along she was in there, but as a parent I guess I was holding out hope they would find her unharmed. It impacted me more that it was drawn out.

How it was presented it was like they had periods where they forgot about her while still supposedly it.being part of the central plot that they are looking for her, imo.

The way they were caught by the Saviors is what I was thinking. Their group is small at Alexandria, Hilltop, etc. It is far easier for groups of 2-3 to go out and scavenge unnoticed. Much harder when you're cruising in an RV with a caravan behind it. Even the Saviors don't really move around in large numbers. There may be a group in one area, and a group in another, but you rarely see them all at once, even at their compound. They have the outposts set up.

The thing the rest of the people have against them is a reluctance to really join together. And different "leaders" at their locations wanting to do what is best for them, and not for the group of non-saviors as a whole. Like Gregory trying to buddy up and put on a show when the Saviors come around. Or Ezekiel and the way he rules.

Not only would this be a great way to debunk my theory but also breathe some excitement into this season. Maybe have an Alexandrian say "frick it, I'm outta here" only to be met on the road by Saviors and then 'dealt with' and made an example of.

I never missed an episode since day 1, until 3 weeks ago I went cold turkey. I know I can pick up at any time from now and hardly miss a beat of what's transpiring. It's time for the series to end imo.
