How has this season been? I fell off after the third or so episode and am wondering if I should prioritize catching up or just put it in the queue. I guess looking for something like "crazy shite man!" Or "same shite different season" etc.
thanks.

Seems like everyone on this board dislikes it. I have actually thoroughly enjoyed it.

The entire show has slowed to a glacial pace. I'm sure next week an entire episode will be devoted to the group breaking up to find some baby food for the baby they've seemed to forget about

Basicy it's the March to War arc layed out into an entire season. Not a lot of action save for Negan fricking people up. Season finalle should be when shite hits the fan and season 8 will be All Out War.

Its been a overall good season with splashes of greatness. It's virtually a build up to the next season.

First episode they showed the ending they teased all second half of last year and then didn't deliver on. The next 7 episodes they showed us how beat down and helpless the group was. The next 7 episodes the group has slowly been getting organized to mount a fight. So 15 episodes into the season, a whole lot of filler, very little substance. I'm trying to hold out hope for the finale to get the series rolling again, but this whole season has made the farm season feel like a full throttle, non-stop action ride.

The farm season was one of my favorite seasons. I like the day to day strain the characters go through though and don't care as much for the zombie stuff.

When I didn't see any semi spoilers or chatter around social media I feared for the worst and it seems to be the case.

Thanks all.

It feels stock and generic. Its probably better to binge.

I still like it but I think the group needs to be on the move more. If Negan is so bad, why don't they just move on.

It's always being a moneygrab for AMC. That's why all of season 2 was on the farm. That being said, this show has had plenty of good moments though not much recently.

As boring as Season 2 for me. Also, I'm not as emotionally invested in this season as I have been in other seasons.

The internet damned near melted when people died in episode 1. After that it's all been built around hating Neegan. Not a bad season (not nearly as slow and plodding as Season 2) but not their best.

basically like the past few seasons. Great opener, slow eps 2-7. Hoping for something strong in the finale.

Build Up to war is the same in the comics. People expected a fast jump into the war for some reaaon. Season finale and next season will be extremely action packed

I've invested enough time watching now that I'll continue to watch until the series is over.. but I've been disappointed with this season. They've had several episodes that did nothing to advance the plot whatsoever, and they've also been able to stretch it out by creating episodes where they focus on one specific group the entire time. (Ex: the Seaside episode) Don't remember seeing anyone besides Tara and the Seaside folks in that episode.

The show has fallen off a lot since the beginning. Only a couple good episodes this season. The rest has been boring filler episodes.
