Brie Larson a dime in it though
A dime? FOH
She's a high nickel at best, and that's if she's not talking.

Fans tried to tell them they only saw Captain Marvel because of Avengers. They didn't listen.

Hope this causes an even faster hard stop and reset for the MCU

How TF Kevin Feige has a job is a mystery.

Because it's Disney that fricked it up. Bob chapek demanded show after show for Disney plus.

THE MARVELS is on pace to drop 75-80% in its second box office mission with just $10M this weekend.

They should have put Marvel movies in the vault for a few years after Endgame.
They should have. But if they couldn’t take a break then at least come back with a new overarching storyline bc that’s what we expect. A new big baddie lurking in the background. The worst thing to do was what they did—pump out a bunch of movies with no discernible connection, many of which featured lesser known characters.

Adding to ALL of the marvel shows on Disney plus where an Easter egg from a throwaway Loki season 2 joke you need to see to understand a reference from The Marvels and blah blah blah. It’s too much content to try to make people care about.
And if you get behind you feel like you can’t just go see a movie because you have 5 different marvel shows to watch to feel like you’ll be caught up

It was Feige who destroyed the quality of the content. Remember his quote about how over 50% of the heroes would be female? It's under his watch Marvel emasculated every male hero and pushed the women.

All of that is fair, but comic book fatigue is because there's just too much content now. That was Chapek's decisions.

They are both problems, but having crap content is worse. Too much good content is one thing. Too much crap content turns people away.

Why are you guys celebrating failure?!? What a cuck Stephen king turned out to be

I think comic book fatigue is a thing but good writing and a compelling storyline and reducing the content output would quickly cure it. Bc the spiderman movies still rake money.

All of this.
I’m a very casual comic book movie watcher to begin with, but they just started churning out show after show, and I didn’t care enough to even attempt to catch up on everything so I just quit watching.
Same thing with the Star Wars universe tbh. There’s actually a couple shows I’d be interested in watching, but I’m so far behind on seasons/series that I have no interest in trying to restart. That’s before you even take into account how mediocre, to bad, some of these shows & movies are to begin with. Even if they were all fantastic there’s just too much of it.

They have the 18-40 year old male. They tried grabbing females. But the problem is the females who like comics don’t even like female comic heroes.

This didn't occur in a vacuum.
The people failing are narcissistic, racist, misandrist azzholes who started a war with the people that made these franchises a hit in the first place.
What you see now is counter-punching, something most bullies are SHOCKED to see happen.
