I never said it sucked. I said it was a chick flick. And it is.
And sometimes its not about your own pseudo intellectual narcissistic self. You're woman might WANT to watch it, and doing things you don't particularly care to do sometimes for people you like is a GOOD thing.

Prayers would be useless on you.

We get it, you're a man who is above watching a "chick flick" that would make their woman happy.

No, I'm above watching a shitty movie that would make my woman happy, but my woman wouldn't want for me to watch a shitty movie.

Therein lies your problem; your woman is insisting that you watch shite.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm talking about getting under some simple minded people's skin.

I get the feeling that anyone asking anything ever of you that you didn't want first or think of first or totally want to do.. is "insisting".

Sometimes, in a normal relationship of course, your woman might ask you for something that might not really be your favorite thing to do... and its okay to say "yes" the first time she asks and not turn it into a fight.

I know that small act of selflessness is tough for you to comprehend, but trust me, it happens it all the time.

Perpetual misery is no way to go through life. You and Unknown should get together.

Well, you did make a leap from movies to relationships. So the anger is warranted.

I never insisted that my husband watch SATC or Twilight, etc with me. But he offered to take me and see them with me because he knew that it'd make me happy. What's wrong with that? Same reason that I go see stuff like Transformers.

Spoilers

quote:

As far as this one goes, I found it very annoying. If you don't find it obsessive, you will and the ending of the fourth book is so predictable it's unpredictable (as in you think there is no way the author could possibly be goin in the direction you think she's going in because it would be too easy).

Tell me about it. Could she had gone more out of her way to make things end up any neater?

And I could have gone without the phrase of "little nudger" as well.
