I'm looking for a new series to start. I watched the pilot episode last night, which seemed entertaining.
For those that have been watching, what's the consensus on this show so far?

didn't watch this weeks episode yet but so far it's my favorite new show of the season. i'm a little worried about the case of the week format getting stale though

I'm worried that the series is destined to by mainly a case of the week. I mean, how long can they drag out Morra's true plan for Jake? After that is revealed, I'm interested to see what the next overarching storyline will be.
But with that said, I've definitely enjoyed it so far.

I've watched every episode and love it. I just wish it had a better time slot

I started watching blindspot last night, I'm up to episode 3, holy shite this show could be good - it's very slow trickle information story style, but every single "small" reveal has been really really good.
Sorry On Topic: I love Limitless as well, it's my 1st or 2nd favorite new show this year, just alongside Blindspot so far

It's possible that Jennifer Carpenter is the oddest looking girl that I've ever thought was also kinda hot.

I told my friend "she looks so fricking weird but I would love to bone her"

I started watching it mainly because of Jennifer Carpenter. I'd eat the peanuts out her turds just to see where it came from.
I also like the original limitless movie, and was intrigued to see that Bradley Cooper was still going to be involved with the TV show.
so far I really like the show a lot. It's the first show I've watched on one of the major networks and probably almost two decades. the only bad thing is having to sit through CBS commercials for their lousy NCIS shows and other crap like that.
what did y'all think about Joey Quinn from Dexter showing up as agent Casey? and of course, he's in a relationship with Rebecca like Joey was with Debra.

Just watched this weeks episode. I enjoyed it and was a little refreshing to see that it's wasn't so gloom and doom for Finch for once but it looks like that will change next episode. OP, if you want to edit your title to "TV Show Limitless Full Season Thread", I wouldn't be opposed to it so that we can have conversation about it

This has turned out to be one hell of a cool show. It's far from any kind of formulaic procedural cop show.
It's irreverent and hilarious.
The Ferris Bueller homage a couple weeks ago was fricking awesome.
Brian Finch has great taste in music (check out the Baroness poster right inside his apartment door).

Just watched the finale. I like the way it ended and look forward to next season.

Or maybe not. The show hasn't been renewed and they are looking for a new home. Damn, I hate when that happens.

I saw that last week myself.
How fricking stupid can CBS possibly be? They took their #1 new drama, Supergirl, and gave it to another network. They take their #2 new drama, Limitless, preempt it at every turn, do everything can can to frick it over, and after it's all said and done they're shopping it around to other networks.
I hope like hell it gets picked up by somebody. I was unique and unlike anything else on the big 4.

I lost interest in the show around December. I just did not like the leads. I think Jennifer Carpenter was Meh and Jake McDorman was just a tad bit better but not much. It had a great premises but the actors just ruined it for me.

Really? I actually liked that show and thought it was pretty well done. Some stuff was weak but for a first season I thought it did good. The idea of the original movie was great so a TV show seems like a smart play. These networks are so dumb sometimes.

Sometimes i get the impression that the Big 4 put a premium on new series, meaning that they are always having to clear room for the 5-6 series that will be debuting next cycle.
They aren't looking for solid performers that bring in decent and consistent ratings every week. They are looking for ratings monsters like The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family that "get people talking" and are popular on social media. That means that smart shows like Limitless and Community get the shaft so they can throw shite at the walls and see if they strike gold..
For them a new show that might be the next big show is far more valuable than a show that they already have data on that might be "good" in the ratings, but they know won't blow up into the "cultural phenomenon" that they are looking for.
