I have little patience with shows honestly. Sometimes I won't give a show the time of day, but then I catch one episode, and if it was really good, then I'd watch it.

It really took me a while to get into LOST. I didn't start watching until midway through the 3rd season, but my friend was a big fan, so I watched 2 episodes with him, but of which I think are still terrible episodes: "Fire+Water" (Where Charlie kidnaps Claire's baby) and "S.O.S." (the episode focused on Rose and Bernard). I wasn't convinced still. My friend then told me to blind buy the first season on DVD, and if I didn't absolutely love it, that he would pay me back the 50 bucks I paid for it. Well, I take him up on his offer, and its was history from there.

I kinda abandoned The Office and Parks and Recreations this season. All the episodes are just sitting on my DVR, but I'm just never in the mood to watch them.

There are also several shows that I might miss a few episodes, then I get left behind and never really take the time to catch up. This happened to me with Mad Men.

All of these shows suck in comparison to Scrubs. One is for homosexuals the others are for people over 50 years old

Lost - there was a female character(someones sister maybe) that was just annoying. In one episode, first season i think, she supposedly was killed, but it turned out to be a dream or some shite. At that point i stopped watching

Boardwalk Empire - after season 2, couldn't handle the storyline of Margaret, it was just so boring.

The Ultimate Fighter - when they starting going live, just lost interest

The wife abandoned American Idol this season, i couldn't have been happier about that

I've already made my feelings about Scrubs known many times on this board. I watched the very first episode and then it got moved around and then I deployed. 4 years later, it starts coming on every channel in reruns and so I started watching again. By 2008, it was clear that it had peaked and wasn't going to recover. IMO it peaked with the My Lunch episodes. Carla and Elliot became insufferable and JD became flaming gay.

We watched the first season of Glee, then part of the second season, then I havent watched since.
This is exactly where I left Glee. The only episodes I've seen in the last two years was when I just really felt like hanging out with alajones2 and not leaving the room.

I quit Rescue Me in the 3rd season.

Ax Men

Same for House. Every episode was the same.

I am about to abandon Deadliest Catch. The show has become repetitive and they are obviously scripting drama and conflict in an attempt to keep it interesting. It isn't working.

Stopped The Office a few episodes after Michael left.

Heroes turned to crap after the first season.

Liked Boardwalk Empire season 1 but never had the urge to watch season 2.

Like most people, I abandoned Heroes into the second season.

I also abandoned er right around the time most of the original cast left. I watched the final few episodes for nostalgia's sake.

More recently, I have given up on The New Girl. After a very promising first season, it just lost its edge for me for some reason.

I don't remember exactly which ones I stopped watching. I moved from the States to Thailand back in 2005 and stayed there for 3 years. I lost all track of whatever was popular in the States and just never really took the time to catch up on anything since I got back.

The biggest one for me is Survivor. One of my all time favorites and for the first time since it started, I didn't watch or download a single episode.

Not sure I have every skipped a whole season after watching the previous season.

I didn't watch 24 after the completely ridiculous taking of the white house by untrained african militants. Just couldn't take the eye rolling level of pure nonsense anymore.
