For one, that was always going to be a lofty challenge.
And two, it looks pretty freaking badass. I was skeptical but the cast is really starting to grow on me. I think Vince and McAdams are going to kill it.

I'm not going to hold it to the same standard as season 1. The cast & plot for this season have me pretty pumped.

It would take something absolutely legendary to top the two guys in Season 1.

I tend to just look at them as "standalone" seasons and with different characters/actors/behind the scenes folks I'll go as far as saying it's basically an apple and oranges type of comparison. So I'll try not to compare.
That all said, I like the look and feel of the cast from what we've seen so far. There's a lot of potential with that Hollywood/Glam representation of California vs the seedy underbelly.

Agreed, I really love the setting. I lived in Los Angeles the last 2 years and the dichotomy is really fascinating.
LA and LA for the first two seasons. Awesome.

From a trailer? Really? Already not looking forward to everyone in the watch threads shitting all over it because it's "not as good as last season." Who knows if it will or won't but how about we give it a shot and just enjoy it for its own merits?
I for one think they have a great cast and really like the feel they have going. I think Vaughn will make fantastic antagonist.
