Fell asleep the last 20 minutes or so. what happened? I woke up as some zombie vampire looking things were approaching Bon Temp. WTH were they?

I don't like the "all humans need a vamp bodyguard" angle.
frick that, we need the Louisiana Vampire task force more than ever.
Send in the army, kill anyone with a low body temp.

The girls I know keep asking about "Quinn", I guess they never get the strongest shifter.

Quinn was omitted from the show. I guess they figured Sookie already has a number of men to choose from.

Eric, easily best character on the show, no way he's killed off.
warlow, well, they fricking wasted his character. He could have been awesome, they spent like 8 episodes with him in about 10 minutes of those 8 episodes then kill him off. weak

nah, the character was awesome, the use of warlow was the fail. They love doing that on this show though, have awesome character, misuse awesome character, kill off awesome character.

The idea of Warlow was good but it's like we never knew him... With how much he was built up last season, he was pretty disappointing on many levels and nothing compared to Russell

That was super lame. They built up Warlow so much in Season 5 and then he was stuck in the fairyland cemetery for over half this season.

I don't get how Eric was able to have his way with Warlow. Tied up, or not.
Warlow is the oldest vampire on Earth and he also has fairy powers, including the ability to day-walk, and read minds. He was too powerful for the show's own good. He could have shot an orb at Eric or even just used his mind to freeze him, like he did Bill.
I kinda figure Tara's mom is a carrier.

and what was the deal with everytime they showed warlow before this season, he looked like a creepy old perv, then this year he's a normal young looking guy. what is up with that junk?

Not looking good. Viewers down by 1 million for the finale. This show might meet the true death after next season.

Wait, so the viewership of the S6 finale was 1 million less than the S6 premiere? Damn. That is a steep drop.
FWIW I could be wrong but I never saw TB going beyond 7 seasons. There's not much story left to tell and I'd prefer next season be the last rather than have it drag on for 3 more seasons (if it goes on another 2 or 3 seasons I'll give up watching it). Most successful HBO shows generally don't go beyond 7 or 8 seasons in general.
-The Sopranos=6 seasons
-The Wire=5 seasons
-Sex and the City=6 seasons
-Entourage=8 seasons
-Curb your Enthusiasm has had 8 so far
-Big Love=5 seasons
-Oz=6 seasons
Game of Thrones will more than likely have 8 seasons since it's based on a book series and the showrunners have been much more loyal to the books than True Blood ever did.

Watched the finale last night, disappointed in the last two seasons. This year it seemed like they were just going thur the motions, glad it was only 10 shows.
