That's just one of the things that make this show so infuriating. People seem drawn to leave their homes only after the sun goes down.

yeah, it does seem like it is simple to avoid the Hep V vamps.

Unless they don't have to be invited in.
I think Jessica was the only thing keeping that fat one from Andy's house.

That would be an interesting twist although I believe the rule still applies to them. Maybe we'll learn more with Eric.

Of course I'm just watching this to finish it...either gay friends, girlfriend (now wife) have resulted in me suffering through this crap.

When this show became self aware and tried to be socially and politically relevant, the results have been hysterical. I feel embarrassed for everyone involved in this show. I'm very empathetic like that.

Just watched the episode... It was pretty good.

Nice to see Alcide out of the picture and know for sure Tara ain't coming back.

This show loves to stick it to Eric that poor bastard will live forever in misery.

I hope not. With Eric having nothing left to lose, Pam got Eric off his arse for one last "I'm a vampire that's a thousand years old and can wreck shop" run. I hope he goes out in a blaze of glory.

Sarah Newlin/Numi (New Me) is about to get what's coming to her. Outside of that happening, MEH.

This has me very confused. If you're in your house...you should be fine. But apparently when they went to that other town they ate those people up who were in their house eating...

I'm also confused on why the hep V vamps even seem like a huge threat now. They took out an entire town but the group we know got wiped out pretty easily. Are we supposed to assume there's ton more?

so is Alceed dead? I fell asleep and woke to see Sookie crying over him and my wife bitching about not seeing him shirtless anymore

Yes. Head shot by one of the crazy Bon Temps residents. I wish he would have killed all of them.

At least it was better than last week's episode.

Just finished the episode earlier. They are killing everyone. When you frick Sarah Newlin you are basically playing russian roulette with your dick, except there are 5 bullets instead of one. I like Lafayette. I really do. Nelsan Ellis is a damn good actor. Wouldn't be surprised to see him play MLK Jr. in a biopic in the next 3-5 years and get some well deserved oscar pub, but son of a frick, can they stop with all of the gay relationship crap with him. It's contrived and it's too damn forced. I can deal with the cheesy faux drama with sookie and Bill. frick I expect that. Hell part of me wants to believe it's all tongue in cheek satire/parody of Twilight. But don't you do that to one of the 3 consistently entertaining characters on the damn show.

I still continue to be amazed at how Sookie can make every single situation about herself.

She would make a fascinating case study for a shrink.

Well, hell...that episode actually qualified as "sort of good".

Looks like I can't punch out after all.

Yea that was a decent episode.

I like the amount of bloodshed this season. It was also great to watch Hoyt's mom die again the recap.

I still can't believe how suck arse so much of True Blood is now after how much the first season rocked.

I sit there watching it at times wondering why I'm even bothering.

Yep.

First things off, any show that that talks shite about shitport is allright in my book.

Eric was great in this episode. He improves the show ten fold. I thought the recap of how fangtasia came to be was pretty damn good. 90's Eric was so damn cheesy it was funny. But it wasn't clear if Pam killed ginger or not though.

I thought Jason calling Hoyt was sad as hell as I think he always got the shitty end of the stick.

I thought the battle scene was awesome, those uppity humans getting their due comeuppance was great, especially the stake in the head.

Things are picking up and we should have a good second half.
