It was just so bad. It's really hard for me to believe a movie could be worse than Revenge of the Fallen.

Best TF movie by far but I still hate that title though

The Transformers The Movie

Why not The Transformers Movie or Transformers The Movie?

I refuse to watch it. I saw Batman v Superman on a plane and it was terrible. MARTHAAA! Oh your mom's name is Martha too? Nvm we're Bros now. Smh.

I wont waste my time with Suicide Squad.

It will probably still make $1 billion and make bank in China especially

It will definitely do well in China because a Chinese production company (backed by the Chinese gov) will maximized it's profit.

That being said, I enjoyed it but Optimus Prime Dialogue was stiff. This movie in particular is REALLY something a true Transformer fan can understand and get the nuances. Like someone complained earlier about a girl transformer?

That's just a gender bent Quintesson who were the creators of the Transformers. The whole Earth being unicron is a nice little lore tide in to the new version of Unicron from Transfromer.

The throwback here is that Transformers are from Cybertron but their devil is actually Earth who rust metal.

The action was pretty damn decent, it wasn't an eyesore like Revenge of the Fallen. It also called back to all the people in the first four film, which I appreciate. Sadly the weakest part is actually Optimus himself.

The one Scene between Bumblebee and Alexia was funny as hell. This movie had a lot more human interaction though not to sure what the kids part added in beside...kids.

Rolling Stone gave it zero stars

Every time Michael Bay directs another Transformers abomination (this is the fifth), the movies die a little. This one makes the summer's other blockbuster misfires look like masterpieces.

When it comes to Bay movies, the worse the review is the more money he makes.

That's not technically true: it's the more explosions Bay movies have, the more money he makes:

Age of Extinction had 330 explosions in case you're curious.

How much expectations can one put on a "park your brain at the door" movie?

It'll make a ton of money regardless.

I'm not exactly expecting a masterpiece here. I just want a Transformers movie that's actually about Transformers.

Soundwave LAUGHING in Dark of the Moon is one of the most rage inducing moments I've ever seen in a movie. Soundwave would not fricking laugh.

Then you will like this one cause they really get into it with the Transformers. Like more than anything else.

It was better than 4 but still terrible. The scenes are almost too busy.

This one wasn't that bad imo. The 4th one was far worse. The story is different, Anthony Hopkins with Cogman were funny. Optimus and Bee were a little underwhelming, but it was good to me. Wish they had a bit more action but the 4th and 5th movies were basically setting up for the movies after the 6th one. Yes the humans are a bit annoying but you can tell they are setting up for the other movies while still putting out some goodness in these.
