But I'm sure that movie made at least some attempt at a script, which the transformer movies never do.

The Lego Movie did pretty good and actually capitalized on the fact that it was based on a children's toy.

Different style and tone and Lego never had a prior entertainment product. I enjoyed the Lego movie, but this year has been really weak for animated movies IMO. How To Train Your Dragon 2 was great, Lego movie was solid, but nothing else has been remotely interesting.

I'm still gonna see it. I love these mind less Transformer movies. My kids do too.

If I want a deep drama I'll watch one. This is fun action shite.

The final confrontation alone lasts close to an hour, and at some point, you may find yourself simply in a daze, unable to absorb any further action into your brain.

so an action novie about transforming robots has too much action? Alright

It might be a problem with everything being a shiny metallic blur. That's happened before.

The problem is I have no idea who is fighting who, not that robots are fighting.

Just got out. Movie felt like it was 4 hours long.

Alot of action though.

It was ok. Just meh. And I was going into it with expectations of a "popcorn flick". The characters had no chemistry together.

Even the transformers themselves. I don't know how to describe it. Just decent, maybe even below average.

And what exactly do you expect from a movie based off of a children's toy line?

Right? It's not like the Lego Movie wasn't the most entertaining family-friendly film of the year or anything.

Edit: and then I noticed this point had been made. Carry on, friends.

Stupid fricking post.

You do realize without ACTUAL mindless violence there couldn't be any satirical mindless violence, right? Derp.

Still 13% Jesus. Man. I haven't seen any of the Transformers films because I assumed they'd be bad, but I actually considered this because, well, Grimlock. Nostalgia for sure. But man. 13%
