Is this just a public service announcement?

Maybe a link and preview to peak my interest.

That threw me for a loop when I caught the season finale a while back, "thats it for the series then" - I was thinking the show was done

I'm a fan of the British version, and when the U.S. version started, I didn't like it.

However, I have really enjoyed the U.S. version in the past year. I don't know if they changed something or if the U.S. guys had to grow on me.

Whatever happened to "Fifth Gear"? Is it still on somewhere, because it's not on DirecTV anymore.

Thanks for the heads up. My DirecTV DVR pisses me off with this because the season has aired in UK already. So when I set it to record first run it doesn't catch these because it will show the original air date in the info as the UK air date, not US.

Is this current new or just the season that has been on in Britain the past few months and is finally getting aired in America?

The latter, hence my DVR problem.

I like the American version more and more and the British version less and less. Jeremy Clarkson has started getting on my nerves. And May is about the most boring human being on television.

I really like Foust and the chubby guy with glasses (can't remember his name ATM) is very entertaining.

And I have come to hate the celebrity interviews on both programs. I FF through those every time.

don't be a TV snob. the US version is just as good if not better.

none of those british schmucks can drive like Foust and put a car through its paces like he can.

US >>>> British version.

Oh well that settles it...

The American version is derivative, totally lacking in originality and the hosts bore me to no end. Learn so much more from the BBC version. Just enjoy it more, to each his own.

British humor and superior knowledge of cars make this a much better show than the American version.
