Jerry Maguire is the odd movie that appeals broadly to both genders. One of my favorite Cruise movies.

I already hate that word...

Yeah, Cruise has a hell of a movie list.

My least favorite is The Firm. Only because I can't stand the movie after I read the book. Ever. But I honestly didn't think The Firm was good. Most of his movies are pretty good to damn good. The Firm didn't feel it was in that range.

I'll also admit that I hate the original Top Gun movie. Have never liked it. Just pure cheese to me.

“Born on the Fourth of July”
and
“Magnolia”

The best acting of his career.

It’s definitely fine not to like the movie, but it was a decent mainstream sentimental commercial film. There are plenty of worse ones.

Put it perfectly. It fit in its time. One of the least rewatchable ones but not a bad movie.

And it’s one of CGj’s more likeable roles. Dude went full tard in Radio and never came back.

Also, it’s a genuinely BAD movie but I’ll watch Knight and Day when it’s on.

The Mummy. It is in his top 10 box office movies earning significantly more the Jerry Maguire and fights with Rock of Ages as his worst movie ever.

It seems wrong to include The Mummy among his "giant hits". It was a loser for Universal after production and marketing costs, and never reached #1 at the box office.

It was such a flop, the planned Dark Universe that the film was supposed to kick off was completely canceled.

In the scope of his biggest hits financially, I think M:I 2 was the weakest film.

I can understand not liking that character but Cuba Gooding Jr was great in that role.

Days of Thunder has it's moments but is really a pretty shitty rehash of Top Gun.

Not his worst movie by any means (in fact, I think it's his best performance), but I just thought I'd remind everyone of the brilliance Cruise displayed in Tropic Thunder (2008) in his role of Lex Grossman.
