I always take crap here when I rag on this show, but Im telling you Im right....the writing has been really pathetic and lazy the last four seasons....they had a great premise and a great thing going and pissed it away

Definitely sad to see the show in its current state after the first couple of seasons it had. Makes me appreciate the constant quality of shows like Breaking Bad even more.

I wouldn't say it's been bad for four seasons necessarily, but this season is a joke.

This season in particular has been so out there that some people have theorized that it's all an end of life dream, which has some potential as an idea.
Unfortunately, I think those people are wrong and it's just bad writing.

Don't blame the writers. Dexter's sustainability was doomed from the start... given the premise there was only so much that could be done before it had to be ramped up into the absurd to have any hope of retaining interest.

I really felt like last season was pretty good. The season finale left great momentum for this final season but the wheels came off at episode one. So disappointing.

This was the first season in a while, because it's the last, where they could play with Dexter getting caught. It made the first couple seasons better because we really didn't know, and it felt like he could be. They've shite that opportunity away.
With Vogel they had a chance to really tell us about Dexter's past, and his father, and they fricked that up too. frick em.

negro please... It's the writers fault this season is not that great, Seeing hannas tits could make it a bit more interesting
