It's a modern classic, and Dano is fantastic and completely holds his own.

I don't think you can call a Day Lewis character a scene stealers. Seeing as he's the best actor in all his scenes...

I totally agree...I guess I can understand how people are turned off by No Country For Old Men, but to call it one of the worst movies you've ever seen is a bit much. Just give it another try. I hope you would be swayed the second time around.

It's one of the most beautiful movies ever shot for one, the opening Tommy Lee Jones voice over against the landscape shots is basically a perfect sequence.

I know the movie is a bit bleak and nihilistic, but that's kind of the Coens' thing. It's haunting yet gorgeous. It's quite simply the best movie of the last 15 yrs in my humble opinion.

Part of its greatness was that it didn't need any loud/creepy score to intensify the movie. It was intense and dark all by itself. Which must be ridiculously hard to do
