The Winner of the Most Hated Movie Character of All-Time Tournament is...

The ultimate wiener, the biggest coward, the unmatchable dickhead, the most hated movie character of all-time championship title goes to...
COMMODUS!
It was a back and forth battle for three pages, but Commodus pulled away at the end for a 12 point victory. Delores Umbridge just couldn't. Commodus was a freight train the entire tournament with the perfect mix of evil and punchableness wrapped into a great acting performance and movie. A worthy champ.
Thanks for everyone voting. I think we got this one right.
So I'm taking suggestions on our next tournament. So far, we've done:
Sexiest Actress x 3 - Beckinsale, Daddario, and Connelly
Greatest animated movie - The Lion King
Best TV Show - *I had serious health issues pop up right as the final four came out and didn't post for almost a year, sorry. Final four was Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, Cheers, and The Wire.
Best Sports Movie - Rocky
Best Action Movie - Die Hard
Most Hated Movie Character - Commodus/Gladiator
I'll listen to any ideas for the next one. So far we've had:
Best RomCom, Most Hated TC Character, Best 80's Movie, Best Villain, Best Comedy, Best Medical Show, Most "Would Want to grab a beer with" Movie Character, Greatest Musical Score in Cinema History, Best Scene/Moment, Best Theme Song, Best Sci-Fi, best Horror, Best or Worse Remake/Sequel.

Added it to the list. We also in another thread had Best Comedy as well. The Best Action Movie was a fun one so doing another genre could be good.
I like best villain but I agree with what was said in that it would be a little too similar to this tournament.

somewhat, but someone like Thanos and Darth Vader and Hannibal Lector and Hans Gruber and Anton Chigurh and Voldemort and Biff Tannen and Heath Ledgers Joker and Hans Landa, and the actual Jaws shark would all be favorites to go far where as they had no chance in this tourney.
I don't think any of the top 4 from this tourney would make it past the characters i just listed.
