Anyone watching? A little sad there’s no Sydney Sweeney this season.

Premiers tonight, Oct 30 on HBO.

Gonna watch, but I highly doubt they can recapture the essence of the first season.

Keeping Stifler's mom as the only holdover wasn't a good idea IMO.

Her storyline was shite. Armond and the newlywed dude were the best thing about last season.

Seems like this season’s cast paaaaaales in comparison to last season’s. The hotness has gone into the dumpster.

In general is the tendency of modern shows to change casts (after one or two seasons) a function of salary and production costs?

True Detective isn't the kind of thing I'm referencing. More like a successful project with liked characters who get jettisoned in season two or three

These anthology type shows are becoming more common.

The nature of the white lotus story would make it difficult, if not impossible, to bring back the same characters.

Hell yeah!

It’s like Fantasy Island, gotta have different characters.

I wished they would’ve done this as a prequel and had Armand in this season where he gets transferred to the resort from season 1

Could’ve let Coolidge establish why she likes the resorts and goes to the place from season 1 as well

Maybe my tv but it looks fricking horrible to start. I hate this already.

Like some Hispanic soap.

Honestly can’t watch it, this is terrible

So far my favorite character is the baw who changed in front of the chick from Parks and Rec.

I know the show will play them as the bad guys (god forbid they enjoy life instead of fretting over the news), but they seem like my kind of people.

She wants that alpha instead of her cuck husband.

Season one was solid, but not great. And that's with Armond really carrying the show. I'm holding off until the end of S2 and checking reviews before spending time on this one. Aubrey Plaza does tickle my fancy, though.

BLL was only supposed to have one season. The fan reaction was so great that HBO went full bore and greenlit a second season. The writing was terrible along with a general lack-luster performance from the cast.

Should’ve never happened to begin with.

100%. After episode 1, I don’t have much hope for this season without him.

Aubrey Plaza just has a little sumthin' sumthin' for me. She's 38 IRL tho and seems too old for the dude she's with.

And I'm always glad to see Sopranos alumni.
