I got home late and just now caught up. I figure the chopper was part of the Governor's crew and just had mechanical issues. Nine months into the ZA you gotta believe R&M was falling behind.
The scene where the Governor and his crew were being watched by Andrea and Michonne was another good one. They built all kinds of tension with almost no dialogue.
