It's a 6.2 diesel. Gets great mileage so long as you can keep that POS engine running.

My tea questions ain't getting left behind on the last page, dammit!

quote:

The tea has me baffled. It's clearly not some controlling substance, since Governor and his lab tech willingly drink it. People saying Andrea looked all positive after drinking it are a bit off. She's positive and happy because she thinks they finally found someplace safe and perfect. Michonne is obviously not buying it.

Is it made from walkers somehow? Possibly. They looked pretty damn nervous when Andrea took a sip, as if waiting for her to spit it out. But how could they mask the taste of corpse? Makes no sense.

So my random guess is it's something the believe gives them immunity to the virus? That's my best guess.

You know what, the tea may be something as simple as its something to drink other than water. Most likely they get the water supply by a lake, river, rainwater, etc. Its not like they have a water filtration system, so to make the water more palatable, they may just brew tea. Those lipton tea packets are boxed by the hundreds, so a couple of crates from Sams could last a long time.

But thats just probably me over analyzing it....

andrea has always been one to question a lot of shite, I just don't think she's the type to quickly accept this

Yeah, but that was before she had to live on her own for 7-8 months. After all that time, a place like Woodbury must look like heaven to her. I know I'd just be so thankful to have made it there, I think I'd try to see things on the bright side.

Would be funny if that what it is. Something to mind frick the audience

But based on the awkward exchange between the lab tech offering them tea at breakfast, something is up with the tea.

Maybe it's imitation and he's embarrassed they'll find out. The horror!

Also, the Gov made a comment about the tea when they were in the lab.

Multiple references are not an accident, there's got to be something there.

i like how they took so much time in season 2 to turn her into shane jr and them she's immediately a stupid and open-hearted chick in season 3

I kind of agree...In season one Rick raided the police station and there was still a decent amount of guns and ammo there...i would think that if the police station wasnt emptied out that there would be a lot of guns around

Finally got to watch this episode. Although this episode seemed to be necessary for setup, I wasn't really a fan. I really feel like they could have done all that in half an episode.
Good to see Merle back even though he was an insufferable dick in the first season
Governor seems like a twisted shithead.
Disappointed there was zero prison action at all this week.

SIAP but am I the only one who thought the gov was looking at his zombified family at the end, before they showed that it was just heads?

No. I thought something bigger would be revealed after he stated at the picture of his wife and daughter. Maybe their heads are in the tank and we just didn't notice them.

I also want to know how he went from family man to sadistic leader. Guess I need to read that novel Kirkman wrote explaining his origins.

I think he rightly fears/hates other authority or military figures. Those types would challenge his right to rule. Fair or not, it seems that the military and government hoarded resources and hid away. There would have to be alot of anger and resentment towards those people. Why would they start to trust them now?

The only three that I recognized in the tanks were the 2 baggage carriers and the helicopter pilot. Definitely looking forward to see where they go with this.

The second Governor novel by Kirkman came out last week.

I have read them both and they are very good.

And the tea is nothing - the producers said on "The Talking Dead" that the tea was a shout out to someone in production who always makes and drinks tea.

I haven't read he comics. So I don't really know how they unfold. What happened to the Black guy and his son from the beginning? I wonder if they are going to show up this season. Also, I think they made too many references to the tea to be just nothing. This season definately looks better than last season for sure.

I'm hoping they did that just to throw the audience. Too much was made of this tea to be nothing. Is the lab tech the only guy left who knows how to brew tea?
