Watching last night now.
Jordy/Taylor. Both sound good IMO. The more they sing I think they're dead even. Can't go wrong either way really. I think Jordy may be a little better. I'd go with him. But Taylor is really good too. shite, I don't know.

Taylor isn't a bad pick.
Alessandra/Joe. She's pretty hot. I don't remember her from the blinds. I like her better. Joe is good but sounds really nasally to me. Is Gwen crying? Yup, she was. They both did really well but I'd pick Alessandra. Loser will get stolen I think.
Boom. Alessandra. Surprised Blake didn't steal him since it was "the most perfectly sung performance he's seen on the show."
Now Adam is crying. Jesus..
NBC, thanks for not only skipping battles, but also not showing us literally one second of the performances. And fricking THREE of them. Goddammit. And on top of that, in a full hour we only are seeing three actual battles. frick off.
Menlik/Troy. Maneater is an odd song choice, but it could work. I dig Menlik's style but I think Troy is better. Good call, Gwen. Surprised the other coaches are jumping on Menlik so quickly. But good for him. And I think Pharrell is the obvious choice for him.

Damien over Kelli by a lot. I think her nerves got her a beat.
So, when is Pharrell supposed to pull his stunt? Did I miss that? He has no more steals.
Ryan and Jessie- Nice harmony. I'd go with Ryan. I don't think it was a good song choice for them, though. Surprised by that steal. Interesting choice for Blake. Out of steals. I think he might regret it later.
Blessing and Katrice-I think the loser gets stolen. I love both of them. Shame they were paired. I would have gone with Blessing just slightly. Yep, there's the steal.
Nice get for Adam. Latrice is some good, though. I like her voice a lot.
Ethan v Matt- damn, I loved that! Matt gets the win for me. He was awesome. Love his tone. Don't think Ethan will be stolen. Nope. That Matt is cool.
Bree v Taylor-okay, Bree's start is just strange. Don't like it at all. Almost baby talk. Real turnoff. Taylor gets this by a lot and the song isn't half over. Bad song choice for Bree for sure and pairing. They just don't go together at all. Worst round ever.
Danika v Toia-Danika's hair isn't very becoming. I was going with Danika early, but Toia killed it after she got rid of the nerves. Like them both, but I think Toia took it. She let go big time. I was surprised at the choice. Adam stealing was no surprise. Gwen comes in late....again. Adam was the right choice.

Jessie/Ryan. Ryan better win this even if only based on the fact that Jessie does the stupid weird pronunciation bullshite. I don't think either one did great, but Ryan is clearly better. Yup.

I caught a few minutes last night... Gwen was looking rather manly.
The production of this show has driven me away... it's just too drawn out and it looks like they are still skipping over performances in favor of fluff.

Waste of a steal by Blake. I cant stand the weird pronunciation crap that at least one "artist" has per season. That song choice was awful for both of them IMO though

Even with the positive additions of Pharrell and Gwen I have become bored with it, and that is after watching every season. Talent is still good, but one series per year was plenty and it seems overly saturated. Wife still loves it so I watch/wait until the Blacklist starts.
Blake "stealing" the blond girl, c'mon man, way too much talent left to waste on her. It's not like 3-years ago when you might have a shot with a girl who can't sing well but is quirky.

I think we all agree that Blake's steal of Jessie was a mistake. I still don't understand it. I bet she's gone after the next rounds.
Did I miss the alleged big deal steal by Pharrell that they showed last week in a clip? Maybe I ff'd through it, but I don't recall it at all. There was build up, but I never saw it unless it was overbuilt and I didn't think it was the big deal they touted.

It's alright, music appreciation is subjective. I think her time has come and gone, tho. Then again, Blake's team isn't exactly stellar which is why the steal made zero sense from a competitive standpoint.

This doesn't surprise me, hat, but maybe Blake will surprise us all. Seems like an odd choice for him especially since it put him without steals. I'm sure he knows which singers are coming up and how they did in their blinds, so he must not have been interested in any others.
