I don't necessarily disagree he went further than he should have. Hell I expected him to be gone long ago. But to say stuff like he's fat and going to get diabetes about a 17 year old is just unnecessary.

Well since I do happen to know his family it's not a very funny one.

Dude it was obviously a joke. Calm down.

i'm gonna miss your stream of thought posts
I do that for almost every show I watch and discuss on here.
And I still don't get the "let me post coke's avatar over and over" thing. It's you and one other poster. What's the deal with that?
Also, I just caught up on the thread...I am shocked that there was actually an argument about Alabama's greatness. What the frick? Alabama was, is, and always will be fricking awesome. I'm not really a huge country music fan, but they are one of the best bands ever. I couldn't believe what I was reading. That's some good arse music they created. I FFWD'd damn near the entire show, but watched Alabama with Jake. That was good, and they sound good even still, considering they we're mega popular 20+ years ago.

Okay kids, here it is.
1. Josh was the right choice. Soul singer and a legit talent. Good for a change of pace on 'da Voice.
2. Coldplay could be called a "pop band" and a pop, pallid reflection of Radiohead (in fact, that was the primary criticism leveled at them when they first came on the scene). Nevertheless, although I've never downloaded nor bought one of their songs, I respect them and like some of their songs. They have talent.
3. Alabama isn't my cup of tea, BUT they're a very talented country band.
4. 90% of country music today is a sad, empty imitation of arena rock with a twang (and dumbass looking wannabe rock musicians as touring bands).
5. Having represented a couple of bands in L.A. and New Orleans, I have to say the music business sucks, but, more times than not, talent surfaces in spite of it.
6. I've seen everyone from Jimi Hendrix, fairly early James Brown, early Stones, original Allman Bros., George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding all the way to fricking Arcade Fire and the fricking, God help me, Decemberists live. Plus The Kills, Jack White, etc., etc. SO MY OPINION COUNTS, MOFOS.

Damn. What happened in here while I was gone?
Leave Little Jake alone! He's a first class kid regardless of musical talent.
Congrats to Christina. She didn't need to win. Adam is signing her. Good for her!
Congrats to Jake. He's a first class sincere good guy. He worked his hiney off and came a long way from his deer in the headlights first live performances. Regardless of his future, that kid gets kudos for overcoming a lot.
Hobbit Josh for the win! Great guy and great singer. He needs to develop a little more as a performer and I hope he has a stellar career. He's a neat guy.
Coco, turns out the iTunes songs weren't counted due to a glitch and didn't affect the outcome. It definitely seemed strange that Hobbit Josh didn't have anything in the top10.
See you folks next season. It was fun.

Grimmie will be the most successful of the three, glad Adam is signing her to his label, it's the right call. She had the iTunes sales by quite a bit over everyone else throughout the show.
Interesting that they didn't count the iTunes votes as x5 for the finals, since Josh didn't get it I think he would have been at least 2nd if not 3rd if they did. Grimmie being #3 and Jake #7 when it closed x5'ing those votes probably would have pushed both ahead of Josh.

There was a glitch in one of Josh's songs on iTunes so how would you know that?

Did you choose to not listen when Carson said "It did not alter the outcome"?

I was surprised about Grimmie being third but I'm glad that Josh won! I love how Jake opened up the hood of the car and gave it to his grandma. I laughed my arse off when he opened it.
I told my wife that it doesn't matter if you don't know what's under there, you have to look and kick tires.
I do not like country anymore. I use to love it as a kid. I can understand why I liked it back then (Alabama) and not today (whatever that country song was prior to Tim McGraw)
I liked the you are a country person singing not you are a country person that is creating a faux super twang and draw singing.

That partially why I liked Jake, not to win the Voice, but just as a country singer who sings the older stuff. Now im sure as soon as he signs a record contract theyre going to tell him "You need to sing about drinking beer and riding in trucks on friday night."
