I did that a few seasons ago. I'll probably check out the blind auditions a few times, but NBC has made this show drag on with like 7 different battle rounds. I couldn't handle it anymore.

That promo picture alone is enough to cause my interest to wane. I know I'll watch at some point. I'm not sure I'm going to be a dedicated watcher until all the rounds are over. I usually enjoy the blinds because they're different, but I'm not even looking forward to those.

I like the blind auditions because you get to see all the contestants for the first time. I hate how they are produced with too much back story on one person then glossing over three in a row though.
The battle rounds suck. Just a terrible idea from the start.
The face offs or whatever it is next typically suck as well. At least they have steals now for when someone inevitably pits two of their best against each other.
Then the live shows... the first part of which also sucks because they'll cut it from 20 or 24 all the way down to 12.
Then they finally get back into some worthwhile TV eliminating 1 per week... until they go from 8 or 9 down to 4 in the semifinal week... what the frick Voice? Why not just eliminate the bottom two each week instead of this foolishness.
I would say they would lean from their mistakes, but nah.

I liked last season quite a bit, good talent and depth, will definitely watch the blind auditions and reassess after.

Watching that and seeing Christina was a big turn off. I'm not sure I can tolerate her much.
