I don't disagree. My favorite battle of last season though was the bald head skinny billy Corgan look a like rocker guy singing "faithfully" with some other guy. That was epic.

I found it a bit more tolerable this evening. You can watch tomorrow night if your tests are over. Should be no fluff and they'll show the best of the auditions, so there will be some we haven't seen. Not sure I'm going to watch.
The sing off previews sounded good, though.

Best one last season was the two Gospel singers from Xtina's team. The guy who won, Jessie, was clearly the best on her entire team, and the other guy was among the best as well. She was so dumb to pair the two instead of keeping 2 strong singers around.
Also, did this episode show everyone who got selected? Or did it zip through 3 of them just saying so and so was picked for so and so's team?

I agree with you on this. They looked good only because the singing shown was good, but it seemed that last year, they pitted some of the really good people against each other. People went home early who shouldn't have. That may be why they've put in the steal though they didn't explain exactly how that works. It looks like they might have to hit the button before the two battling complete the song and steal one of them, but I'm not sure where that leaves the one left. Bee probably has it all figured out.

Great performance. I actually thought Anthony won.
And the steal is good for this situation so a coach could save a guy like Anthony from being booted too early because his coach sucks

I didn't really think the Florence and the Machine chick sounded good. But I guess I can see why they thought she did. And her mustachioed friend looked fricking AWESOME.
Louisiana is all over this show...this time Denham Springs. Nice.
The dude who sang Crazy was good..why the hell didn't anybody turn around..? That was a cool arse version of that song and he sounded great IMO.
It's weird that they fall back on the excuse of "It's getting tight now and we are waiting to be wowed to fill the last roster spots on our teams.." but then they turn around for seemingly run-of-the-mill singers. WTF?
Maybe it's just me, and I haven't caught up on the thread yet, but it seems like Cee Lo isn't even really trying anymore and doesn't give a shite to be there. It's annoying. All he really says is "I want you on my team..that's why I turned my chair around." However, I was FFWDing last night and caught a glimpse of his pink bird sitting on his head and had to rewind it and watch that shite. It was hilarious...that bird cracks me the frick up.
I wanted to punch Christina in the face when she told that one dude "If you came up here and had fun, that's all that matters.." I'd have been like "Um...no, bitch. I came here to get picked and be on the show. THAT'S what matters. Go frick yourself."
And Christina's boobs are creeping me out more than ever. So much so, in fact, that I had to get picture evidence last night.
Okay, so sometimes her boobs/cleavage look normal:
And then she moves her arm or hands, and her boob freaks the frick out and makes weird movements and shapes:
What the frick? I realize they are fake, but I've seen fake tits before that look normal and/or don't have a mind of their own. Christina's seem to dance and jump around for the sole purpose of giving me nightmares and scarring me for life

I'm a fan of it...I'm glad they aren't allowed to just steal people period. As in, oh I like her, she's mine now. That would've sucked since these people (for the most part) chose who they wanted as their coach. So I'm glad they get to "steal" the castoffs.
Not sure how I feel about this though:
