I think the one Stephen King movie not necessarily book per say, but movie that stayed with me long after it was over was the Mist. Mainly the ending. Just unbelievable

That movie definitely stayed with me afterwards. My favorite change from a book probably ever.

Sleepwalkers was always the one that really stuck with me when I was young.

Something about getting your soul sucked out by a horny vampire werecat was a tad bit unnerving to me.

No Langoliers?

I actually think someone like Nolan or Aronofsky could do something with the source material.

Pet Cemetery.

I read the book first and the book freaked me out. Then I watched the movie and damn if it didn't freak me out as well.

I don't get scared at horror movies. I wish I could find one that did scare me.

As for what freaked me out the most....

The emotional and psychological trauma presented and worked through in this film are real and present in most every persons life. Coming of age is a scary thing and this movie presents it like no other.

I was about to ask who the poster was with Pennywise as his pic, because I always have to scroll past your posts quickly to not see it for too long..

Yep, Pennywise can go DIAF. I would say IT freaked me out the most of any S. King movie, even though technically it was a TV miniseries.

The dark-half..........and needful things. Both books are favorites of mine and the movies are very well done.

The Mist ending sucked. The book's ending was both darker and more realistic. The ending was shocking just to be shocking.
