It is only a brand name, now - it came out of bankruptcy in 2010 and Dish bought the carcass.

I can't get streaming broadband at my house feasibly. I love Netflix's DVD service.

I agree. The reason I don't use them anymore is because of another piece of equipment and cords to clutter up my space. My tv is mounted on the wall with the a small cable box and an Apple tv behind it and everything is hidden. Makes no sense to have more items than needed.
